Eid al-Adha 1428 In light of Mecca’s announcement that Monday, December 10th, 2007 was the 1st day of Dhul Hijjah, hajj (the day of Arafah) is scheduled to be on Tuesday, December 18th, and Eid al-Adha on Wednesday, December 19th. This is based on the decision of the Fiqh Council of North America that Eid al-Adha will follow the Day of Hajj as announced in Mecca.
